The weather is awful here today, gale force winds, rain and hail. When 3pm came round and it was time for school running club, I was impressed that 2 tough students turned up, the rain and hail had eased but the wind hadn't. I was the only adult so I couldn't take them off site so we ran around the field. The ground was waterlogged and absorbed every step and the wind on the way back down the field was like hitting a wall, the kids did great, fighting the wind, but we decided to cut the session short.
