First long ride 2024

Aiskew Baldesby st James, Cundall, Helperby, Myton on Swale, Tholthorpe, Flawith, Aldwark, Great Ouseburn, Upper Dunsforth, Lower Dunsforth, Aldborough, Boroughbridge, Langthorpe, Skelton, Copt Hewick, Sharow, Hutton Conner’s, NunWick, Watch, Kirklington, Carthorpe, Burniston, Theakston and Exelby. 

Seemed a lovely morning for a long bike ride, Aldwark Bridge has just reopened, so I decided to go there. I thought it would be about 45 miles. I explored a couple of villages on route, saw a coach and horses and got to cross the bridge, was actually 56 miles, but I was fuelled with hot cross buns and cheese, so it was ok. Took it steady as I have Snake Lane 10 mile run tomorrow. #aldwarkbridge
