Bizarrely I am unable to write on my blog from my mobile. Anyway that is the first of my challenges over. 2 marathons within 5 weeks. both involved me travelling away from home. In London I stopped at The Hilton Docklands and for Edinburgh I stopped at a Travelodge in Mussleburgh. VLM was Hot and I was fighting for breath in the city air from 15 miles it was a run walk, but what an atmosphere. It was amazing. It took me 5:02:44 and I loved every second. Edinburgh was cool wet and windy I still loved it ran every step of the way and finished in 4:33:00 a pb.I have now done 4 marathons, all within 12months of each other and I loved them. All my marathons were different but my 2fastest were cold wet and windy.
